BYU officially announces football independence, will join WCC

Nebraska football player Jared Crick will be presented with the Brook Berringer Memorial Endowed Scholarship before the Western Kentucky game at Memorial Stadium.

Kansas Head Coach Turner Gill is about to embark on his most important season at KU – his first. With any first comes first impressions, first accomplishments and of course first victories. However, winning football games is not all that is on Gill’s mind. He is also interested in teaching young men how to be successful in life through football.

Tomorrow WKU starts its season against the University of Nebraska. A couple of WKU students are excited about the start of the Hilltoppers’ Football season.

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers visit the Nebraska Cornhuskers Saturday for the season opener for both teams.
